Today, we received a phone call from the local post office informing that the package of the chicks has arrived. My husband stopped by the post office to pick up the chicks during his lunch break, and picked up a bag of starter feed from a feed store. We opened the box, and saw these three little baby chicks. They are Buff Orpington, White Rock, and Backeye. All females. I set up the feeder and waterer in the baby box with  where they will spend for the next several weeks. The box floor is lined with a piece of waterproof material from an empty layer pellet bag, and it’s covered with multipurpose pellet.
