My name is Naomi Gray, and I am an oil painter. I love painting animals and landscapes as an allegory of my adventure inspired by a dream to fly like the birds. and my quest for the feeling of home. Our pet chickens in my artwork symbolize the domestic life.
My husband Peter and I live in a house at the edge of Ellensburg, WA, with several free-range chickens in our yard, and a female pet House Sparrow, Tobi. Tobi is Japanese for “flight.” She is nine years old, and a wonderful friendly pet.
