After the tragic loss of our Becky, we ordered three more baby chicks from Meyer Hatchery last Friday. These baby chicks hatched on Monday, and shipped via 2-day Express Mail. We woke up by a phone call from the local post office around 6 AM, notifying us the arrival of the shipment. Peter jumped out the bed, and picked up a package of these precious chicks. We named them right away. Dori (the Golden Wyandotte),  Puffy (Dominique), and Amy (Cream Legbar). They looked sleepy from the long trip, but happy to arrive at their new home. We added them to the baby box where Sophie and Shantie were in. All five chicks had no problem mingling with each other, even though the first two chicks were much bigger.
